Another Musical Feast, a non-profit musical arts organization in Austin, Texas, will present the world premiere of Patricia M. Long’s Symphony No. 4, composed during the COVID-19 pandemic and dedicated to the frontline medical teams. This concert will also include Ms. Long’s Suite for Piano, Orchestra, and Special Percussion and several of her new choral works.
A special 20-minute Concert for Young Children will immediately precede the main event described above. This performance, also a world premiere, will feature delightful music composed by Patricia M. Long especially for school-age children (kindergarten through 3rd grade), but enjoyable for all. It is interactive, educational, and includes a surprise entrance on stage of a comical character named “Dr. Maestro.”
